LeBron James’ love for the VersaClimber has been well documented, as he’s been using the cardio machine for years.
The gift (and sometimes the curse) of Mike D’Antoni’s offense is its simplicity. They have at least three shooters surrounding James Harden at all times, as well as one of the best rollers in the NBA when they play Clint Capela at center. Because Harden can break down just about any defender in the league one-on-one, it forces defenses to make the tough decision between leaving a shooter open Cheap Eagles Jerseys by throwing an additional defender at him or allowing him to score by staying home on their assignments.
The Spurs have tried a number of things to slow Harden and the Rockets down in this series. The Rockets got off to a blistering start in Game 1, setting a franchise record in the playoffs with 22 made 3-pointers. Not only did they neutralize Kawhi Leonard by stationing whoever he was guarding in the corner, they attacked LaMarcus Aldridge, David Lee and Pau Gasol by having them defend Harden and a shooter — usually either Trevor Ariza or Ryan Anderson — in pick-and-pops. When the big showed or hedged, Ariza or Anderson slipped to the perimeter.
Turning point: Cleveland closed the fourth quarter strong and took all of the air out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse, but it was the effort in the third quarter that really got the Cavs going. They went on a 10-0 run late in the third, cutting the Indiana lead to 10 and preventing the Pacers from scoring for more than three consecutive minutes. Certainly the Pacers inexplicably turning away from the Cheap Elite Nike NFL Jerseys ball movement that was so successful in the first half helped the Cavs crawl back possession by possession. But give credit to LeBron and Co. for getting stops and converting on the other end.
28 pts, 6 rebs, 7 asts, 0 to. No Cav outside of LeBron has ever done that in a playoff game. LeBron just did that in the second HALF.
