The Steelers sacked Brady twice in the AFC championship game, but Pittsburgh’s pass rush was inconsistent. On a 10-yard touchdown pass to Julian Edelman in the third quarter of New England’s 36-17 victory, Brady had plenty of time to scan the field.
Patriots linemen Shaq Mason, Nate Solder and Joe Thuney did a great job up front and center David Andrews provided help to knock Steelers linebacker James Harrison away from Brady.
Brady was sacked just 15 times in 12 regular-season games while throwing for 28 touchdowns and two interceptions to set an NFL record for touchdown-to-interception ratio.
Those two interceptions came against the Seahawks and Ravens.

I love the culture. I love the players. I’ve become close with a lot of the guys. Obviously you know how my running back group is. We’ll cross that bridge whenever we cross it. On that point, I feel great.
“I’m in amazing shape. I feel like I could play 100 more years if I have to.”
